The Candles
Welcome to Wayfarer Candles, home of premium 100% natural soy wax candles. Each candle is hand poured using the finest essential and natural fragrance oils available. The wicks are all-cotton wicks, guaranteed to be lead/zinc free. We do not use any additives with our candles including artificial colorings, U.V. inhibitors, stabilizers, or any other
non-essential ingredients. Our goal is to present the fragrances as you might encounter them in nature. Pure, fresh, clean, and natural are words that best describe the kind of scent throw to expect from Wayfarer Candles.
We use Eco Soya™
brand soy wax consisting of 85% natural soy wax, and 15% other natural vegetable
waxes (it’s a secret they won’t even share with us.)

Let our special blend of all-natural blend of Palm Kernel Oil, Soy Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Hempseed Oil, Green Tea Extract, Vitamin E sooth and moisture your skin. Absorbs completely into the skin leaving it smooth, soft, and silky. Not waxy and non-oily to the touch. Just burn the candle long enough to melt some wax. Extinguish the candle and either pour the wax or dip your fingers into the melted wax and apply to your skin! Release Date - March 16th at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago!
The Packaging
The Paper
Tube package option is made of 100% recycled paper, 85% post-consumer waste.
They are printed using environmentally friendly, 100% non-toxic toner and
soy ink. Producing the packaging locally reduces the environmental impact
of transporting them. They are also easily recycled, as they consist of
cardboard tubing.
Our
Mesh Tin packaging enhances the luminary experience by letting the candlelight
glow from the thousands of little holes in the tin. Burn it right in the
package! The bottom of the container
features a non-slip rubber mat that prevents the scratching or scorching of
furniture. Snap on lid prevents
spillage. Clean the glass when
you’re done with the candle and you have a handy container. The mesh tin can be re-used
for burning other candles.
The Travel Tins feature a
clear lid and are great to take on the road with you.
We keep a Kumquat tin in our car all summer long and enjoy the refreshing
citrus scent every time we climb in.
Candle Care 101
Sounds silly I know… find
the wick, light it, - done! Right? Not quite. Premium
soy candles aren’t cheap. Why spend more than necessary? Below are some
tips to help you get the most from your candles. Proper burning will help
you get more scent throw, reduce any soot from your candles and make your
candles last longer.
Burn the candles long enough to allow the wax pool to
reach the edge. One hour for every inch of diameter should do it. If you do not
allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container they will begin to
tunnel down into the wax instead of consuming all of the wax.
For safety, never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects.
Container and wax will
get hot! Do not move while wax is
still hot. Trim wick to no longer
than ¼”. Burn
candle only on a stable, nonflammable surface. Do
not burn candle in paper tube packaging. Avoid drafts.
