Great candles start with great ingredients.
Great candles require a great wax. The soy wax we use is:
And of course they’ve got to look great too!
Our paper packaging for the 8 oz. glass tumblers is made from 100% recycled material – 85% post-consumer waste. The print on the package is made using soy ink. We were featured in Package Design magazine’s sustainability issue and one of only 20 products picked for the Going Green display at the Chicago International Home and Houseware show our very first year attending.
Our reusable mesh tin packaging, also for the 8 oz. glass tumblers, enhances the luminary experience by letting the candlelight glow from the thousands of little holes in the tin. Burn it right in the package! The bottom of the container features a non-slip rubber mat that prevents the scratching or scorching of furniture.
Our 4oz. travel tins are perfect for a powder room, small office, or of course, hotel rooms (don’t get caught we’ll deny we ever said that!) They feature a clear lid and are easily cleaned once the candle is burned to make a handy little lidded container to use around the house.
Sounds silly right? Find the wick, light it, - done! Not quite. Premium natural soy candles aren’t cheap. Why spend more than necessary? Below are some tips to help you get the most from your candles. Proper burning will help you get more scent throw, reduce any soot from your candles and make your candles last longer.
Burn the candles long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. One hour for every inch of diameter should do it. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of consuming all of the wax.
For safety, never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects. Container and wax will get hot! Do not move while wax is still hot. Keep the wick trimmed to ¼” and keep debris from falling into the candle. Burn candle only on a stable, nonflammable surface. Do not burn candle in the paper tube packaging. Avoid drafts.
